I got too many things going on

My projects are all on the highway, talking on the cellphones with small children in the back and the radio is on. We're talking pile up with multiple injuries here any minute.

And my Mom sends me a note - she wants "one of those new mice that come in colors and is battery operated and not attached to anything." But, she says that they are $80 and she's not sure if she wants to spend that much plus she doesn't "want to have to remember to turn it off to save the battery" and she's not sure she likes the colors they offer and what if she takes it into the kitchen and loses it?

Sometimes it's hard to know where to start the reply...

I'm waiting now to hear from my vendor and see how fucked I am. We're sending out these paperweights as part of a direct mail. I ordered for 8 different companies. Plus 30 that are generic. My email says 8 for each company plus 30 generic. And his response says 150 total. Since 150 is what I want, I just said OK. And in my head I thought 8 for each company. Now I know it's 15 for each of 8 companies and my vendor is out on an errand.

Some days are better than others and today is one that is created so the better ones are sure to look better. If you catch my snowdrift.
