It's not easy to get pictures on my morning walks these days. We got fog... And soon we'll have dark. But today, I got lucky. I did the south walk (soon to be the Krispy Kreme direction) and it takes me to the headquarters of Starbucks.
Starbucks moved its headquaraters in over the old Sears store in the late 90's. It's an old building - I think the orignal Sears store in Seattle). Sears is still there. But, the building took a major dive in the earthquake of 2001. The Starbucks lady fell right over. (And poor Sears - they had just finished redoing their home improvement section - they said that the paint section was a huge mess.) They only finished fixing the building this year.
This morning (at 7:24 to be exact), Ms. Starbucks was awake and ready for the day.
