I've noticed over the past couple of weeks a distinct change in my attitude towards work. The things that would sent me through the roof a month ago are just nothing-burgers now.

There are still the same number, quality and interference from the exact same fuckchops. I've had no change in compensation or benefits. I mean really nothing here at work has changed. The same assholes are still assuming I need their constant help interference.

But, oddly, it doesn't piss me off nearly as much as it did. And I haven't a clue why. Biorhythms, maturity, phases of the moon? Don't know. Don't care. Just appreciating...

Does your friend coming to visit know that there is a possibility that your lj friends may catch a glimpse of her? (if she walks by the webcam) ;)

Weather. For some odd reason you like that cold, grey, damp miserable weather y'all have up there. That nice warm weather just really had thrown you off.

Take it from the empirical wisdom of LordJim, or Mark Twain, one or the other, "Never pass up the opportunity to blame it on the weather!"

I vote for weather and walking (those endorphins can be mighty powerful...and discreetly so!).

It's a combination

You very well could have SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder)in reverse! Weather that doesn't jive with your personality can affect your mood....but also exercise DOES realease endorphins and help with stress as well.....so I think it's a little of exercise, weather, and fresh air!
