Day saved...

It is just now 3:15 and I have done a day and a half of stuff today. Stuff I've been meaning to do since forever.

I made the Goodwill run and unloaded my trunk full of stuff and, of course, came home with stuff but only 3 baskets (for holding yarn) and two of the most interesting plates - phone pix: - spending a total of $4.

Got the tunes problem solved - another $4 - adapter from Radio Shack.

Boxed up some stuff that needed to be mailed and hauled it to the post office and dispatched it all all with the direct mail project from work that I also finished.

I am feeling productive. I still have to mail my latest afghan - wedding gift - off to New Zealand but it's a bit early yet. Even by slow boat mailing now will get it there by the first of February and the wedding isn't until April.

My last chore that has been on my list since forever is to clean up the ashes in and around the fireplace (someone left the damper open and the last windstorm blew the ashes onto the hearth even though the glass doors were closed!)... maybe I'll just do that now.

This LJ comment problem is making me crazy. Some entries say 2 comments and have 4. Some say no comments and have 3. I hit refresh and see 4 comments, click on it and see none. And the no email notification wants to make me cranky. I get no notice for most but some comments bring 2 or three of the same emails hours apart! Just shows you what a slut for comments and commenting I am.
