Animal Cruelty?

When someone (human animal in this case) orders a new toy, is there anything more cruel than making that someone charge the damn thing for 3 hours before they can even touch it????? Who made up that rule?

And, as expected, I am getting lots of notes from Mom today punctuated with monkeys doing things. It is cracking me up.

At least it doesn't have spend as much time charging as the Shark Cordless Sweeper had to (wasn't that 24h?) But yeah, I wish the toys could come fully charged too.

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten about that! That was real torture - waiting to try the thing out with the knowledge that you were actually anticipating using a sweeper!!

A few months back I had to re-up my cell phone contract. To motivate me to do that - and to stay with Verizon - I was offered a variety of rebates, incentives and freebies that allowed me to buy my cutesy little phone for a song ($49.99). I chose Verizon's LG V-6000 (http://reviews.cnet.com/LG_VX6000/4505-6454_7-30468833.html?tag=pdtl-list) with it's camera, voice dial and a buncha other whistles 'n' bells - most, I rarely use!

The phone was pretty spectacular, but even MORE impressive was the fact that it was ready-to-roll the second the Verizon rep handed it to me - right down to having my saved data imported from the old phone! Hopefully, they're finally getting a clue that we've become a generation used to instant gratification! Three hour charge time, indeed!!
