Lured by USB ports

The check is in the bank. Half went off to the Money Market account (which is at American Express... their antiquated systems make it inconvenient to get money out of there so that's where I keep the cash that should not be spent...)

Now it's time for a flat panel display. 19 inches. I want as many inches as possible. I'm replacing a 21" CRT. But the 20" LCD's are just way too expensive - I think. So 19 inches.

Dell has one that looks sweet. Pretty. With a height adjustable stand and 4 USB ports. $577 total (shipping, taxes, dealer prep, etc.). But, the coupon that gets that price expires tomorrow.

Best Buy has some decent looking deals on their website that are supposedly available at my local Best Buy store. Costco has some 19" options on their website and a clear statement that the websites do not reflect store inventory.

Costco is 1 mile south of here. Best Buy is 10 miles north of here. Dell's deal expires tomorrow. And I really like the idea of those USB ports. I have lots of USB ports but only 2 that are reachable and both of those are angled so that using them involves a lot of muttering 'fuck, fuck, fuck'.

I think maybe I'll make a quick looky loo trip to Costco today. And then mabye Kenny wants to go to Best Buy. Or maybe I'll just order the one from Dell.
