Happy Happy Dance
Oct. 9th, 2003 05:40 pmOk, the Treo600 is just too good to be true. I love it to death. The feel, the sound, the everything. The phone part is wonderful. The PDA part is great. The browser is WAY better! The camera is about the most fun ever.
I posted my first photo blog picture. I need to work on the layout of the photo blog but I think it's going to be fun. I need to add a link to it on my LJ page.
Today was really busy at work. Really busy. Tomorrow is going to be as busy but different.
My friend from the other Washington is coming in at 11:30. I need to find boxes and packing material and stuff for a project at work so she and I are going to hit the shopping trails. The places we need to go for boxes aren't open on weekends. The rest we could do Saturday or Sunday as well. She's not leaving until Monday morning so we have time.
But, LJ entries might be a bit sparse. There may be more photo blogging going on until she's back at home.

If you decide to head northward while she's here, there are a couple of moving companies and a few mailing businesses on Aurora that sell boxes 'n' packing! However, the very BEST reason to head north on Aurora is Mr. Bill's Family Restaurant at 130th and Aurora!! Turn left off Aurora onto 130th then right at the first driveway . . can't miss it! No one has visited me in the past five years (and I have LOTS of company) without a trip or two (or five!) to Mr. Bill's!!
It's truly worth the visit . . if for no other reason than the great (diner-type) food at rock bottom prices, the portions are HUMUNGOUS (take half home - two meals for the price of one!) the ambience, the music, and the friendly wait staff! If that's not enough to "sell" you, they have hand-dipped (hard) ice cream shakes/malts to die for!! Their banana splits HAVE to weigh 5 pounds and the carrot cake literally melts in your mouth - not to mention the deep-dish fruit pies! (Arrrrgh! Why am I doing this to myself!!) It's definitely NOT Ruth's Chris or even Minnie's Cafe (on Denney & 1st - another one of my favorites!) but it's fun, it's clean, it's waaay affordable and it'll take you back to your high school days!!
