This new monitor is excellent. But it sure does make my computer desk look shabby. I bought this sucker about 8 years ago at IKEA in their 'deal' section for $30. Then I cut a hole it in so the old monitor would fit. The old one was so huge that you really never saw the desk at all. Now you do. Ugh. But, maybe with some clever rearranging....

Listed the old monitor on Craigslist for $100 about 30 minutes ago and already have one bite. I'd be delighted to get rid of it and even more delighted to get $100!

One of the 'features' of this monitor is that you can, really easily, rotate it to have a horizontal view. However, all the words and pictures retain their original orientation so unless I can learn to read sideways, I'm not sure I see the value...

But, I'm loving these new USB ports... I'm thinking maybe some web cam rearranging maybe...
