My boss just told me she had 3 inches of snow at her house this morning and it was still coming down when she left. She also mentioned that she had no electricity. I have snow envy. I do not have no power envy. She lives in Woodinville which is about 30 minutes from here if there are no cars on the road.

I have no shoes left with heels. All of my shoes are slipon clogs. Oh, except the flip flops. So I have no shoes that are good for forging the huge puddles of water between work and home. We've had several days of lots of rain and our drainage is kind of tired. So the streets are lined with giant puddles. Time to drag out these silly boots I got last year when they were on sale. They are transparent plastic. They are some of the most uncomfortable footware I've ever had on. But they show off my excellent hand knit socks and they ford the puddles beautifully.

We have a new guy starting today. He is a contractor and just introduced to me as here "to solve our predictive analytics problems". Silly me. I had no idea our predictive analytics had problems. I was worry about silly things like we have no one in charge of Human Resources. I have not had a raise in more than 2.5 years. We have more than our share of fuck chops and the crime of that is that I cannot find out which company doesn't have enough so I can go work there!

But, our predictive analytics are soon to be under control.

My Charlotte to Charleston flight was canceled and they put me on a later one which means I have a three hour layover in Charlotte. S'ok. As I recall the Sprint reception in that airport is fabulous so I can catch up on email and LJ.

I have a mailing to get out and I analytically predict that if I don't quit fucking around and get the damn thing done, I'll be here tomorrow instead of starting my vacation!

Kenny just came in and said it was snowing at his house, too!!!!
