Good news and ...

Vacation has started! I am home. All is good. I am ready to leave for the airport so the next 26 hours are just for me.

I plan to do a little laundry. Take a nice walk. Maybe get my nails done. Do a little Netflix. Do a littel TiVo. Just ease on in to vacation mode.

But the news is maybe not all so wonderful. I just discovered water on the coffee table in the living room. There is nothing on that table to leak. Except the ceiling. Above my ceiling is the terrace of the condo upstairs. This is very not good.

The building manager is on his way up. Thank god we finally have a good building manager!

Ok, now he's been here and he is just the best. We've been through a bunch and this one - Micah - has only been here a few months and already he's made such a difference. He says that it is definately the ceiling leaking and he called the woman upstairs (who's a real pain in the ass) and left her a voice mail. I don't know what he's going to do but I feel like he's got it under control and I'm not going to worry about it one bit.

Sherry and Lee will be here to feed the cats and hide from Sherry's visiting parents. So if they ceiling falls in they can handle it.
