Randomly so glad to be home
Nov. 29th, 2003 09:49 amI don't know if it's just because I am an old lady so set in her ways that getting out of them is so traumatic or if the trip to Mom's was just too stressful, but I'm not sure a minute has gone by since I got in the door last night that I haven't been grateful to be here.
It's heaven to be home. This morning I woke up and didn't have to talk to anyone. I was kind of thinking as I went to sleep last night that I might not walk this morning. I took a couple of walks at Mom and really didn't enjoy them. But as soon as daylight hit this morning I was on the street and it was great to be there! I walked an hour and 15 minutes and it was great.
I have a lot of stuff on my todo list today. But, I am taking Monday off, too so I have a few days to get it all done and none of it is critical anyway:
- update book database/website
- update knitting journal
- pay insurance bill and check others
- unpack purse and put everything away
- take a week of newspapers down to the recycling bin
- make new puzzles for puzzle page
- organize books - for sale/need to buy/etc.
And maybe trot over to the Japanese grocery for a few supplies.
Ok... now I'm going to shower first.
