Waiting for another RFP. The salesrep/author is an offensive idiot. If he calls me honey one more time, he's going to be able to put his nuts into a bowl and cover them with the stuff.

He told me yesterday that his ill-written 57 page tome would be ready for formatting just after lunch. I'm guessing he's pretty darned hungry since it's now just before 9 a.m. and I haven't seen squat. He just 'honey'd' me to give me the good news that his deadline of today has been extended a day. Yes, I'm thrilled to be torturned yet an additional day. More more more. Please.

My favorite yarn vendor has free shipping again. I placed my order this past weekend. It occurred to me this morning that I don't remember seeing the cheerful 'thank you for your order' note. hmmmm Checked the website for order tracking and my order isn't there. hmmmm Their website ate an order once before. I'm thinking the bugger might have been hungry again. I'm going to go check my cache at home and see if I can find the evidence and exactly what I ordered before I call.

On a continuation of my book project, I'm now going through all the authors that I have read in the past 10 years and making sure they have not published anything I don't know about. I'm culling out a list of 'authors to check' and from here on out will just make that a database field. I'm also discovering that Amazon is getting some pretty attractive used book prices. Their shipping/handling charges are more than Half but in a lot of cases their prices are a good bit lower.

Honey just sent me the document from hell. Call me Frieda the Formatter...
