My first post this morning was a bit snotty about the smiley central toy that I got for Mom. My intent was to delete it off my machine once I got it running on hers... but, heck, it's just too darned much fun!

I sent an email this morning to the folks who operate my email spam filtering service - SpamArrest - I've been using it for six weeks now, and frankly, it's just been heaven. There is little that I know about that works as perfectly as this does. So I wrote them a fan letter. Shortly thereafter I got a notice that someone had put a pin on the little guest map on my website and I went to see. There was a URL. I followed it. It was the website of a guy who is a student at the University of Washington and does JSP work on SpamArrest. I clicked 'journal' on his website and ... tada... he's an LJer! method I thought that was pretty cool.
