Loose Ends

I'm kind of floundering a little bit. I'm coming to the end of two weeks with no job, no structure to my days and I'm not getting comfortable with it. Little things are busting my chops.

The Guy Who Owes Me Money is supposed to be sending me $60 a month for two years to pay off his debt. I got $60 very promptly in November. Fairly promptly in December. I got January's payment by the middle of the month. I have not seen February's. I am mad at myself for waiting until yesterday to do anything about it. I sent an email yesterday afternoon letting him know the payment 'had been lost in the mail' and asking him to resend it and to let me know he had. Nothing so far and it's aggravating me more than it should.

My desk right here is a mess. Everything needs to be filed and the files need to be thinned out. And I keep not doing it.

I did do a nice little walk this morning. I have a very expensive, lovely writing pen that has needed a new refill. So this morning I walked over to Office Depot which is about 2 miles from here. I found just what I needed and enjoyed browsing through the office supplies as well.

My supply of coffee is going to run out this weekend so I'm contemplating a Costco run in a bit.

See? It's just a little of this and a little of that and not much of anything. I'm not bored, I just feel out of focus and I'm not used to that.

On the up side, the Mariner Spring Training games begin on March 4. They will be on the radio every day at noon. Yahooooo! Besides loving to hear the games, a baseball game on the radio is the perfect background for getting stuff done. So if all else fails and I'm still floundering around in two weeks, that will be the sure fix.

Off to Costco now. Coffee, string cheese, and eggs - that's a maybe on the eggs.
