I got nothing on the tap for today. So, to compensate, I cleaned the bathrooms. I have 1.5 and they are now sparkling clean. If you don't believe me, come see for yourself.

My walk this morning netted a guy on a Segway. He was emptying out the parking meters. They used to walk pushing this cart that looked like when they got it full of change it would not be an easy push. Now they Segway. Parking meters in downtown Seattle are one of the most expensive things in town. There used to be a local SNL kind of show and they had a great skit showing a guy plugging change into a parking meter. By the time he got enough money in, his time was up.

A startup across the street (in the same building as the General Tso's Chicken deli and where my startup-before-last was) has job openings. I sent my resume to them. The notice I saw said 'follow the instructions on our website'. If you did that, you ended up sending an email to careers@... And you ended up getting your email bounced back due to 'no such email address'. I sent an email to the recruiter who told me resumes were to go to jobs@... I resent and suggested very nicely that she find her webmaster. Then I realized that she may have other things to do so I sent the webmaster a note.

This used to happen to me all the time. Once an email address sits out there naked on a web page for a while, it gets on all the spam filters so periodically, you kill all the old ones and make new ones. It's a cheap and easy way to fix the problem - IF you remember to change the webpages.

I have new puzzles to do and a couple of my own webpages to tweak so I guess I'll do that next.
