This morning's paper says that my Krispy Kreme will open at 5:30 a.m. on March 23. I'll miss the opening day but the direction of my walk on that next Saturday is carved in stone.

My walk this morning was not that much fun. The sun was out full force making it hard to see in some spots and hot in others. I think my aversion to the sun is mostly mental - emotional and I wish I could get over it. But, I do love my clouds.

I'm having lunch today with the office manager from my old job. And, it's $5 burger Wednesday at the place down the street that serves superior hamburgers and excellent fries. I am looking forward to good eats and getting caught up on the poop.

I am in the middle of organizing my finances. Well, really just annotating those since the first of the year and planning for the rest. It's a pain in the ass and I'm not having a fun time doing it. But, I am going to stick with it and get it done. No excuses. Maintenance won't be that bad and I only have two months of back stuff. I shall be grateful this time next year when I'm staring down the nose of taxes.

My list of things to do before Monday is growing shorter. I'm about ready. I do need one last Costco trip (it's such a luxury to go on a weekday morning) and maybe one trip to the supermarket for stuff I can't pick up at the Japanese grocery. And then I'll pretty much be set.
