Note to self: before attempting to clean ashes out of fireplace, check and make sure that at least ONE of your hand held vacs is charged up and ready to help.

Second note to self: clean those stupid ashes out once a year. two years' worth is too much.

We couldn't find a boy small enough to send up our chimney..so the brush was sent from the top!
Waht a frigging mess!!!!
Worth it though to see those warming flames dancing and do a little fire scrying...there is a proper word for that..I've forgotten it though...along with most things that I can't remember these days
