Floatsom and Jetsom

Lee, my sometimes walking buddy, is out of town this weekend so I went out earlier than usual. Even so, the waterfront was already populated with walkers and gawkers and jet-lagged tourists and even a film crew. They were a gaggle of about 10 - and funny to watch. The guy in charge was the one with the script and the pointing arm - I even saw him actually do the square thing with is hands to frame a potential shop. I felt like I was watching a live cliche. The talent had only a few pages of the script in his hands and nicely done hair. The others carried stuff and tagged along as they decided what to shoot. It was funny to watch.

My bother is at my Mom's and working down the list. So far she has new batteries in her wireless phones and new batteries in her toothbrush. Her computer has new memory and the lightbulb in the laundry room has finally been fixed - it buzzed. They are having fun. He reports that she seems to be in better shape than the last time he was there and she is happy. What in the heck else can you ask for?

Oh I did see a guy on my walk - across the street... a large older guy - well large around the middle anyway - walking down the street with a New York Yankees sweatshirt on. I so wanted to go gloat. Wearing that sweatshirt in this town, less than 2 miles from The Deed - the day after The Deed - says something. I'm not sure what but it sure gave me a smile. We play those Yankees again tonight at 7.

How does this house get so messed up? Ok, the cat hair I can figure out. But, stuff just gets left around and not picked up and it makes a mess. And no one ever does anything about it.
