Whew

I just went out for a mini walk. On the terrace here, there's a bit of a breeze and I thought if I stayed in the shade it wouldn't be too bad. Well, I made it out and back so it wasn't fatal but it was sure hot. Inside is a good place to be.

I wanted some salt water taffy and the candy place is on the waterfront along with a gascillion tourists. Man, that place was packed. Since I'm usually there between 7 and 8 a.m. it was really different to see all the shops open and all the people paradeing on the sidewalk.

But now I am home. The lights are off, it is dim and cool in here. Have I mentioned lately how much I love my air conditioner?

I think it's time for some Sex in the City.
