Faux Remission
Jul. 1st, 2004 08:20 amMy cold has climbed back over the edge to fight another day. I had a hard time getting to sleep last night because of the cough - a tickle cough that was just so annoying. Then I woke up at 2 - wide awake and stuffed up and miserable and figuring I'd never get back to sleep. But, apparently, I did because the next thing I heard was NPR.
I have a first class cold. Red runny nose, red watery eyes, cough, congestion, the works... I am a walking advertisement for your basic Summer Head Cold.
But, I'm fairly sure it isn't fatal.
There are fewer and fewer people on the bus and at work every day this week. I'm thinking I may be the only one left tomorrow. I am enjoying the free air conditioning as well as the peace and quiet!
I have to go train a guy to use the new web space this afternoon. He's in the building where they are threatening to move me. I planned the training session for the end of my workday so I could test out the walking to the bus stop from his building. Should be interesting.
Sniff, cough...
And... happy Canada Day!
