The idea of this company moving offices to the burbs gave me an unsettling night. I dreamed about it and then woke up about an hour early worrying about it. I do not know if this is just an idea or if it's a real plan or what. So it would probably be good to find that out before I spend a lot of energy worrying.

I'm actually pretty ambivalent about this job in a lot of ways and maybe this will help me noodle that out, too. I started making a list of all the things that are good about the job and all the things that are bad about it. I think, too, that I'm going to have to do a mini job search just to find out what's really out there and reinforce that this is a place where I really do want to be.

I'm going to confine my hunt to the 'hood. I'm going to start with a list of businesses around here. I need to visit all the buildings and copy down their directories and then look them all up and decide which to favor with my resume. I know that sounds wacko but that's exactly how I got this job 2 and a half years ago.

Sounds like a good idea to me. You never know, until you start looking. Also, life is much better when you are in position to call the shots....versus feeling like you are tied to others. Happy hunting!
