I sent an email to one guy today trying to explain the political ramifications behind what was happening. The fool sent it on to the people who did NOT need to hear my opinions on the subject. I know better and it was stupid. Maybe I'm trying to make the job decision happen. Or maybe I'm just stupid.

Haha! Been there, seen that, done it, eaten the (crow) pie. And ultimately got laid off, and still only wish I'd said more. Never mind, worse things happen at sea... and other such platitudes.

So, now all you need is the co-worker a dark alley and a length of lead pipe. The lead pipe is quite hard to find these days.

You're not stupid. You just temporarily forgot that not everyone can be trusted. Especially in the work place. If all work got done as quickly as the grapevine moves, we'd be a much more productive country!!!

By the way, I've been meaning to tell you how much I enjoy those little graphics you include with your posts. Where do you find them? :)

Don't you just hate it when that happens? :(

Ugh. Sympathy. Those moments are always nasty.

For whatever it's worth, my boss once sent an email saying that someone would never bother to do something. An email exchange followed and - about six or seven letters later - the guy he had said it of got copied.

On the plus side, as far as we can tell, he never read it...either that or he's used to it and didn't care.

Never fun, though - and what I took from that was to keep it all verbal if I don't want it forwarded to the topic of the conversation. I'm sure I slip up, now and then. Hope one of those never bites me.

You have my sympathy. Hopefully it will stick to just being embarrassing.
