This has been a lost day. I knew it was going to be a long one because of a vary rare 4 p.m. work meeting. Generally I'm on my way to the bus stop by 2:45. I could have gone in later but figured I'd meet my friend Bryan who's in another building across the campus for a long lunch instead. Turns out I had to even cancel that. What a day.

And... Mom's in the possible path of another hurricane. 'The home' called my brother today to ask if he was going to come up and get her if an evacuation was necessary. Turns out they have to call the closest family member of every single person to ask for what amounts to a 'release'. I'd guess that between independent, dependant, and the several different nursing wings, there are probably about 400 people there.
