Nits and bits

I am cold! I love it. I have on a short sleeved knit shirt and no socks and I am chilly. I just went over to the ATM (in another building) to get some cash and if you stay in the sun, it's comfortable. But, when I slipped into the shade, it was sweater weather! Yahooooo I love the Northwest!!!

Mom sounded good again today. She's doing more every day. Pretty soon we are going to have the problem of who goes to stay with her for a few days when she moves back to the apartment in a few weeks. My sister told her she would but of course she's already started down the I-Can't-Get-Away path. We're likely only a couple of choruses of 'I've Got A Life And You Don't' away from her bailing all together. My sister in law will volunteer but 1) she's already had the duty once and 2) they are going away for a week on vacation and that will end up being the week of or the week after Mom needs someone.

So.... Against everyone's better judgment and desires.... I'll probably be going to Charleston before the month is out. I'm really Mom's last choice. And it doesn't even make my list of choices at all. She loves me and loves my skills but knows that nursing and care giving did not make the list at all. Plus, if she needs it, I yell at her and she doesn't like that much. It's not going to be pretty but them's the breaks.

The bus load was very light this morning. Only a couple of the regulars showed up. I enjoyed the three day weekend but I was ready to get back to work and grateful this morning to have a nice job to come in to.
