No Costco... No Best Buy... No nowhere....

I just slipped out to make a quick price checking trip to Costco. Surprise! Someone - no names will be mentioned - did not close the trunk properly last time she used the car which was probably 2 or 3 weeks ago... And, consequently, the battery is dead as a doorknob.

There is good news:

1. The car is parked facing out.


2. The open trunk gives me easy access to the jumper cables.


3. My neighbor Sherry parks just across from me in the garage.


4. I have the work email address of her partner, Lee and just sent a note asking her to get Sherry to call me so I can meet her in the garage.

You mean you don't drive to work? No place to park at the other end of the block I guess.

I don't understand why car manufacturers don't put the door-is-open lights on a timer so they won't kill your battery.

Well, yes I do. It would probably cost a nickel.
