I'm a sucker for a post card

Just after he and Eric moved to Paris from New York, I found Jason Stone's blog and added it to my daily Must Reads. He shares my North Carolina roots but has taken them much farther than I ever would. One thing that amazes and amuses me about his adventures is that he speaks no French. He's learning and, I'm guessing, probably better than he lets on, but still I cannot imagine what it must be like to live surrounded by babble everywhere. Curiosity would just flat kill me.

But I am so enjoying his adventures. I've left comments here and there and he's actually even visited my Live Journal. But, today I received the ultimate compliment - I got a post card from him!! He and Eric recently went to Portugal. I hate it when they leave town because there are no Jason stories then. But, now I forgive him. I have a beautiful postcard from Algarve, Portugal.
