Good news and well...

susandennisThe good news is that the camera is here... It's charging up now. 2 more hours and I can play. It's a tiny little thing with lots more options than I'm trained for.
The bad news is that I just got an email from social worker at 'the home' - it was sent to me and my sister and address 'dear family' - leaving out my brother and sister-in-law entirely which I thought was interesting. It said that Mom was going back to her apartment on Monday. When my sister was there, she told the social worker (and everyone else) that when Mom was ready to go back into her apartment, she would come back and stay with her and make sure everything was fine. Of course, the minute she got back home, she started in about how she has so much to do and so many responsibilities that should couldn't possibly go back on such short notice.
So now we cut to no notice. The email from the social worker clearly assumes that Nancy will be there on Monday ready to help Mom. My sister-in-law who would normally get stuck with the job will, gratefully, be on vacation with my brother in Maine for the week. Whew. I am not going. I thought about it and I'm not. I don't want to and it wouldn't be fair to the folks at work. So, it's my sister or we hire someone and since she stuck her nose in, it's her decision to make. So there.
