I didn't walk today. Yet. My brother was madly trying to get my Mom's computer connected to the internet and having problems and I didn't want to leave him stranded. I think he's finally got her going. The problem now is going to be re-education. She connected to the internet via dialup for years and, I'm sure, has totally forgotten how slow and cumbersome it is. I hope she can adjust.

But, there are new issues. When my brother got there this morning he discovered she had unplugged a bunch of stuff because the wires bothered her. Among other things, she'd unplugged her cordless phone so it had no charge and she had no working phone. It's going to be an interesting visit at Thanksgiving.

So, while I was here helping my brother with his computer issues, I decided it was time to uninstall Norton's and buy a 2 license, 2 year subscription to AVG Grisoft and install it instead. This involved rebooting which I so rarely do. Now the webcam software is having fits. But the AVG is still doing it's initial scan so I don't want to reboot again yet.

Once I get the computer settled, here's my list of things to do:

• Update MS Money
• Make the new puzzles
• Rearrange living room furniture
• Fix webcam page to reflect new arrangement
• Finish latest afghan
• Update knitting page
• Send email to new person at hospice to see if she wants the 3 finished ones
• Take wak - probably over to Japanese grocer - need milk, bread and maybe avacado?
