I have about 20 vinyl albums left and no turn table or record player. Today I hunted around for a place that would take at least some of them and turn them into MP3's. They have been out of print since forever and won't ever be released on CD.  The first place I found mainly turns your CD's into MP3's.  (Thanks, I can do that myself.)  But they offered vinyl record and cassette tape conversions, too.  So I requested a quote.  It just came in.

$29.95 per album or $3.95 per cut and shipping is extra.

Me thinks that's a bit steep for the work involved.  I think I'll look elsewhere.
