So far... excellent
Nov. 20th, 2004 08:18 pmI waited about 10 minutes for the bus. It runs about every 30 minutes and I can catch a nearly non-stop to the airport about 2 blocks from my house. 25 mins and $1.25 later, I'm at the airport. And, honestly, I'm about the only one. The Delta guy looked so lonesome I waltzed up and asked if he had any emergency row seats - leg room and no kids - I scored!
My flight leaves out of the new terminal. I had not been in here before and it is swank. Empty, but swank. I thought you had to turn on your computers for the security guys, but even though there were about 12 of them and 1 of me, they were not at all interested. One guy did like my shoes (I'm sporting the red crocks.)
I got to see all of the new terminal which is really long - in fact, I walked so far that I think I may be about a block from my house.
Found a nice bench where I can put my feet up and have something to lean against at the same time. And... it's right next to an electrical plug!
And if that weren't enough, I fired up the mini and it found a free, open wireless network!! Thank you T-Mobile (which is what it's labeled as).
The only negative is that they are getting me ready for the hot weather of South Carolina. It's a sauna in here.
I guess I'm going to have to set up an email notification list for my puzzles. The last few times I've added new ones, I get a thank you note immediately from several different people. I got three tonight and one poor woman says she looks for new ones every day.
