I've always been partial to the concept of inertia. Once I get into a groove, I just keep it up and resent any interuption. Yesterday I was in a big groove of reorganizing my jpgs and moving them from server to server and updating the pages and I had to stop to go out to dinner with friends and then sleep and then come to work this morning. It's pretty disconcerting. I'm such an old fuddy duddy about stuff like that.

But, I am taking this afternoon off and there's less than an hour of this morning left so I think I can get back into my groove soon.

I actually have gotten a ton of work stuff done this morning as well. It's very quiet here - probably 90% of our employees are off today. And, when you only have 45 employees total, that makes for a mighty tiny population!

I know what you mean regarding intertia. When I am doing certain types of server/web or computer work I lose all sense of time. It is also one of the rare times that I can forget about eating or drinking.
