Be careful what you click on
Jan. 10th, 2005 08:42 amEvery morning I get my coffee and catch up. First I read all my LJ friend groups (I have 5 of people, 2 of communities and 1 of photos). Then I hop over to Bloglines and catch up on some of my regular blogs. I have 111 in my list currently but they are organized in groups as well and I generally only get through about half of them. (The other half is for when I'm really really really bored.)
One blog that I try to remember to check is not martha. This is a woman who lives in Seattle and finds interesting stuff. She makes me a little crazy because she never has enough entries or enough information about them or herself and what's even worse, she does not offer an RSS or other feed of her site so I have to remember to go there.
But, remember I must because otherwise I could go on living without ever knowing there is such a thing as Press On Toenails. I'm a little freaked at the knowledge but I know I am a better person for having it.
The other tidbit that not martha led me to this morning was Dooce. And now there are three. Three blogs that are really the most consistently sharp and clever and necessary reads - Bryan Adams Blog and There's PIE in the Lunchroom. There are lots of other good ones but these three should be required reading for everyone.
