susandennisI love these bits - thumbs of pix I took yesterday in the building where My CPA (I love saying My CPA) has his office. It's two very old buildings joined together. Britt's office is in what he calls 'the penthouse'. They built another floor on top of the roof of each of the buildings. The elevator doesn't even go up there. You take it to the 4th floor and then wind around and climb two flights to get to 'the penthouse.'
The light in the courtyard between the two buildings was just wonderful yesterday afternoon and I got some good shots.
My library is getting a new catalog system and I'm dying of curiosity about it. The old system had some nice features that I hope they keep - I could hop onto their website and place anything on hold. But they also had a handy list feature. I could keep a running list of books I wanted to read.
But, the system was slow as Christmas. On the library terminals it wasn't so bad but on the website it required patience and the UI was vintage 1975.
They took the old one down last Sunday and the new one is promised "the morning of the 23rd". You gotta love the precision there.
Ok, back to my website and the now Spreadsheet That Ate Cleveland...
