susandennisI started asking Sheri last week, via email, what our timetable was looking like. I should have smelled a rat when I wasn't getting an answer. I finally wore her down to learn that it will be SIX FUCKING WEEKS before the first thing happens here.
The first thing is the painter and she's now talking to two of them and one can't do it until April 18 and the other one is on about the same schedule.
So why in the hell did I bust my ass to get everything packed up and ready just to sit around and look at dirt and root through boxes to find stuff for the next six weeks???!!!!
I'm really more pissed at myself than anything else. I should have nailed her down before I got my expectations set and before I started packing up everything!
I'm still going to get the haulers to come get this stuff. I can't stand to look at it. I think, though, in light of this depressing development, I'll hold out a few more items than I had planned. Maybe the hutch here by the desk. I can use the card table for a desk, but it would be nice to have something for papers and paper clips maybe. And there is a table in the front room that I use for all kinds of things. I think I'll hold on to that.
