Not much going on here
Mar. 9th, 2005 12:43 pmI ordered a new lime green light weight backpack from http://www.ebags.com - I was so impressed with their website and their selection and their service, that I sent them an email telling them so. They sent me a thank you and a certificate for 10% off! Like I'm not enough of a crack ho over any kind of bags... Yarn and bags... You'd never know it to look at me.

The woman who's dogs I fought with walked did make me cookies. They were good. I actually had a few that were getting some age left on the m and I wanted to return her tin so I stuck the rest of the cookies in the freezer. I returned her tin. I got a note from her saying I was to have kept the tin. ??? I wrote back that any one nice enough to give away cookies likely always needs tins. I got a note this morning saying she had made more cookies and what was my unit number (it's in the book and on the condo website and she is a board member...). I'm happy to get cookies but I do not want to be in her debt. The tin will stay at my house from now on.

My friend Susan, from my last job, sent me a note this morning that she had put a spider on Kenny's desk (no idea why...) and he immediately figured out it was me! I love getting credit for harassing Kenny - especially when I don't have to lift a finger. I told her thank you.

I got a couple of books on CD out of the library and converted them to Mp3s so I could listen to them on Treo. So far, it's good. I like listening to NPR but I'm liking this even better. I'm listening to one now that is narrated by by a cop from New York working in Austin, Texas. It's a novel and the reader is great with the accents - not too much and not too little. He can sound like a big burly cop and and an emaciated hooker in the same paragraph. Dirty Sally by Michael Simon read by Scott Brick.

And that is all I know for now.
