Apr. 7th, 2005 07:16 pmI was able to catch the woman who pays Mom's bills. Her trust department is connected to the bank of the credit card in question. (This is exactly why I got the credit card there!) She's on the case. She got the $29.99 back into the account, and tomorrow will make sure they block Pluto and start the process for getting us a backup credit card.
Part of the replacement process is that both of us have to be on the card. So I have to sign the app and Mom has to sign the app and the bill is paid by the trust people at yet a 3rd address. Then we (me) have to track down all the recurring charges. Then we have to train Mom on yet another internet interface - with another username and password.
It sure would be nice to avoid all that.
