I need to got to Costco this weekend - I'm running out of meat and dishwasher soap. I think that's all I need. Since I was last there, my Costco (store #1) has moved. Across the parking lot to a brand new much bigger store so although I only need 2 things, it will not be a simple trip. I will need to investigate. I think I'll just be there when the doors open on Saturday.

Sometime this weekend I need to make a grocery story run.

Sheri is going to be at my house today with Dave the handy guy. They are going to take down the rest of the shelves, all of the hardware from every closet, the handy (but, ok, unsightly) coat hooks from by the front door, maybe the very ugly and totally useless alarm panel thing by the front door and all the picture hooks. Then, he's going to assemble the cat chest. And trim off the edges of the little table in the half bath so it tucks more neatly under the sink.

Then this afternoon she's meeting with the painter there at the house to do the paint quantity figuring out and other pre painting details.

The chest of drawers was supposed to be delivered yesterday but the delivery guys fucked up. They will deliver it today and, if it comes in time, the loveseat as well.

Then this weekend, I need to organize my piles. My house is now just piles. Boxes of stuff here, bags of stuff there, piles of stuff over there. And I need to organize it. I think a lot of it is going out on the terrace. I need to maximize that space and load it all up and then throw those old shower curtains I've been saving for godknowswhy over the top. I figure it's going to be a good month before I'm going to be able to put stuff away.

I have a pretty good handle now on what stuff I need access to for the next month, so it's just a matter of squirreling the rest away. If it were only painting, it would not be a big deal but hot on the heels of painting is carpeting and that means moving every fucking thing that is not on the terrace or in one of the bathrooms.

My arm had a rough day yesterday and is feeling like today is not going to be a whole lot better. It's funny how it kind of comes and goes and never quite goes away entirely. I have been very careful with it. And, hopefully, this weekend away from the intense all day keyboarding will help. I am encouraged when I hear about people who have had the same thing and then one day wake up and realize that their arm no longer hurts at all. That will be me. It will.
