My walls await
Apr. 12th, 2005 01:49 pmDinah painted the fireplace wall today and I think the back wall (near the front door) and I don't know what else. I really want to go home and see my new puple walls. The webcam makes the purple look blue. The wall where the door is actually is blue - a really bad blue that the condo people did after the earthquake. I'll be glad when that wall gets done so I don't have to look at that horrid blue again.
I think my arm is getting better. I really do. It's funny what actions aggravate it. Scooping is litter is one that just rips it. I'm wondering if maybe that's how I even did it in the first place. I think I need a smaller scoop (or learn to scoop less at a time) and I need to learn to scoop with my left hand - at least until I'm 100% healed. Last night I did my regular scooping and realized after about 4 scoopfuls that I was causing big arm trouble. No more of that.
Next week, I think the cats will spend their days down the hall at my neighbor's unit. They don't live there (just visit) but have friends staying there. The owner emailed me today offering again for the cats to go stay there starting Monday and this time I took her up on it. That way, the door can stay open all the time and maybe more quickly dissipate the paint smell, too.
I have the itchiest skin in the world. I know it's because it's winter and a dry winter and my hot morning shower does not give my skin enough moisture and I don't drink enough water etc etc etc. But does it have to be this itchy all over? It's annoying.
Mom finally got her tax return done, signed and in the mail. Whew.
1 hour until I can leave to go see the paint... And maybe the loveseat will come today.
