Saturday Chores
Apr. 23rd, 2005 11:32 amI'm done.
I've taken two trolley loads down to the dumpster. I've sorted out the bedroom piles and the front room piles and kind of done a little of the living room piles and I vacuumed a swath through the house so that I can at least walk barefoot safely.
I've done some more cleaning on my Mom's computer and got her email smiley's back for her and signed up my brother, who's going up there next weekend for Mother's day, to do a full post-other-sister cleanup.
I found my nearly finished afghan and think my arm is well enough to finish it off this afternoon. Then it will go into the car with the other two finished ones until I can get over to the hospice for delivery - but at least it will be out of this house.
Last night Keiran came out of the kitchen with his hand behind his back and said "we know you must be so frustrated with your house in disarray that we thought maybe it might help to have a little pretty" and he whipped out a beautiful bunch of screamingly yellow tulips. They are the happiest thing. They are decorating the mantel of my purple fireplace wall.
