Mom: What time are we going to dinner?
Me: I'm not sure, I think you said 5.
Mom: What?! We always have dinner at mid-day! Why are we going at 5?!
Me: Are you talking about tonight or tomorrow?
Mom: Thanksgiving!
Me: Oh, ok 1:30
Mom: Why on earth would I be talking about tonight? That's stupid.
Me: [Smile with lips closed.]
This was one of several similar little vignettes. But, as it seems that when I won't fight with her she's not as likely to try and start something. Interesting...
My head is full of cold. Ugh. But, this time tomorrow I'll be putting all my stuff back into storage and heading to bed and then to the airport.
