(no subject)

I'm pointed home. I'm at the Charleston airport - my flight should board
in about a half hour.

Meanwhile I'm cooling my heels - and everything else at the gate. It was
so hot in Mom's apartment this morning that I was a ball of sweat by the
time I left. My socks are in my purse and I'm carrying my jacket and
sweater. Guess I'll add layers as I get west.

Mom seemed happy with my visit. Yesterday and this morning she made subtle
indications that this would be the last one for her. Her movie - the one
she was an extra in - opens in May next year and she said she wiahed they
would do it sooner so she could see it. I made sure we said all those
things you wish you had said. I do miss the person she used to be but if
she's ready to go then she should.

I'm on my way to Philadelphia on a puddle jumper. It's a 2 hour flight.
And then I have a 3 hour wait for my Seattle flight. Long day. But I have
2 books, my knitting and Treo. And i'm begging to cool off a little.

It was hard to tell, but I'm wondering if that was a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich along with your french fries?

When you get time, would you please explain the rocking chair thing to me? I didn't get it on your flight to Charleston and I don't get it now.

Hope that by the time you see this, you're en route from Sea-Tac to home!

Btw, I think I've mentioned before that the Seattle airport is my very favorite in the world. (spent lots of time there a couple years ago)
