susandennisKieran and Alan came over last night to make a preliminary check of the digs. They gave their stamp of approval. And they brought me the most beautiful etched green tea candle holder that totally matches the walls. We had a great evening. Turns out they had never been to my favorite Chinese restaurant and they approved.
But, like so many places in Seattle, the place is not air conditioned which is generally not a problem but we are breaking heat records here and last night was not a night to be in a restaurant without air conditioning. Ugh.
On the up side, I can report that my ceiling fan in the bedroom does an excellent job of keeping me sleep cool!
Oh and Kieran said he'd be happy to get me from dentist to home on July 11. Whew.
Today I'm off to deliver afghans and grab groceries. Then home where I may well do nothing until Tuesday - except try to keep cool. Maybe.
