And turning the channel all together... But, first, thanks so much for all your thoughts and hugs and prayers. It still astonishes me how critical LJ is to my daily being. Rationally, it's nuts. But, I don't need to be rational. Fortunately!

I do need to be clean and tidy and so... I washed the kitchen floor. The new rug lets about a 10 inch border of tile show all around. This had grown to a 10 inch trough of dust, crud, yuck and other not nice stuff. When all this is done, I plan on treating this place to a deep cleaning but this trough could not wait. And now it's gone. ahhhhhh

I tossed out a bunch of hangars during the great purge. Last week, I discovered that I didn't have enough hangars left. The idea of buying the exact same thing I threw out really annoyed me.

Today I took a bunch of empty milk crates that had held stuff down to my storage area where I never go and found two stacks of two different kinds of really nice plastic hangars!! Score. I'm happy.

I made two trips down there with stuff that will probably stay down there untouched until I die but, hey, it's not hurting anything down there.

Then I made a trip to the dumpster with trash. I have another cart full that needs to go next. I am making progress.

The desk/office thing will be here on Tuesday. John and Sheri are going to assemble it and install it on Wednesday and that will enable me to empty most of the boxes left. I have some books in a few boxes that will go onto the shelves that John is building but, hopefully, by this time next week, I'll have most everything put away and a clear picture of whether or not I need another storage something maybe for the hallway. I'd like to get by without - less is more, doncha know. But, I am not willing to toss out my knitting magazines and I don't think they can live on the hallway shelves. We will see...

I have two DVD's full of episodes of Six Feet Under that I have not seen. And I have teddy bears to knit. And I can look forward to the Marines losing again to one of the worst - if not the worst team in baseball. Oh and I picked up book last night by an author I have never read - the book has been on my shelves for a couple of years - 50 pages in, I can already tell, it's a winner! I love finding a good new author!
