I published all my work from yesterday this morning and then sat back and waited for the deluge of 'this link won't work' and 'this page is totally broken' and 'why is my image gone'... My game plan was to count the ! used and award a prize to the person who used the most. Talk about a non contest.

I got a few emails pointing to two pages that I fixed right away and then nothing. I even sent out an email to The Biggest Whiners asking them to check their content and let me know if they saw a problem. And these are people who debate one space or two after a period... Nothing.

Man, it's a sad day when your frequent fuckwads let you down.

So now that the big stuff is done. I'm kind of pissing away some time here.

Actually, I'm googling for new webcam software. I've been using Conquer Cam since about forever - well since years ago when I gave up on Webcam32. The problem is 3 web cams. And two of them look really similar to webcam software. And, now that Mom's going to get better, I really do need the three. If I'm on the couch or at the computer, she can see me with the 2. But, if I'm in the kitchen, or in the shower, or gone down to the dumpster, she knows I'm home if she can see the TV on. This makes her happy. And it's a little techno challenge for me.

3 webcams - all USB. So there are connection issues, and then webcam software issues, and even furniture issues (my new desk has no place - within USB cable reach - to hook on to - and if you check now, you will see that my make-do of last night, apparently has fallen down).

It's a fine and sensitive balance... And right now, it's lost.

So, I thought I'd investigate new software... Googling 'webcam software' with multiple cameras, by the way, is a GREAT way to find porn sites.

I did find a couple of interesting maybe candidates. We'll see.
I did order longer USB cables.
And a little mini tripod.

But, I'd really like to go ahead and get on home and unpack a box or two into the new office. At least enough so that I can put my living room back together again.

Tomorrow afternoon after work, I'm off to do some User Experience testing with Kieran's new software. He's got a couple of interested clients and wants me to pound through it while he watches so he can get a better idea of what his clients are going to ask him about when he does demos. I'm on it, dude!

But after I get him taken care of the rest of the weekend will be devoted to organizing the office and getting rid of boxes.
