More Mom Stuff

Well, it's been a Mom morning. My brother says that Mom may just not be up for putting up with my sister's intensity (he's really learning diplomacy in his old age). And then Theresa returned my call.

Mom is apparently taking on some new and not good personality traits. She has sitters 24/7 and according to Theresa she treats them "horribly". She is mean and rude to all of them. And she'll tell the night one that the morning one won't let her do this or that. She'll tell the morning one that the night one won't let her have a tylenol. etc.

Theresa says they are all very sweet and very competent and very nice and she (Theresa) is spending a lot of time explaining to them that it's Mom's lack of oxygen, frustration, whatever that's causing her to be so mean and please be patient.

Ugh.

On the up side, my sister is the perfect one for telling Mom to change her behavior!

Of course, now my sister is swirling up her own drama about when it might be possible for her to come. I sent her an email back that said that I didn't give a flying fart when she went or IF she went but that she damn well better reset Mom's expectations.

Holey crap. I am really running out of patience here.

Oh and I checked Mom's email and discovered that her cousin (who is her age and blind and living in Texas) thinks I'm in Charleston. I sent David an email last week or week before telling him about Mom. He replied to keep him posted. Then I sent him one that said she was home and would be glad to have him call if he wanted to. Then I got one from him asking if he could call. I replied that he should call her any time. Several days later I got an email asking if it was ok to call. I replied again that he should call if he wants to.

Today's email - to Mom's address said for me to contact him. I got him phone number from information. He's probably at lunch now. He lives in a place similar to Mom's. I'll call later.

I'm am very tired of old people.
