Mom is good. She told me, via code, that today was her last day for sitters. It was clear that she didn't want the one sitting there just then to know what we were discussing. However, she made it very clear to me and I was impressed with her stealth. And, she's getting back to her old computer self, too.

She's had a 'no visitors' sign on her door since she broke her butt and they took that down this weekend. Things are good again.

I think I'm going to replace the living room TV after all. Yesterday I had to unplug and replug it nearly every hour because of lost sound. It's begging to go. So I think I'll just honor the request. Now I need to find a replacement at somewhere where they will both deliver the new and haul the old away. Our buy a new one online and call trashbusters.

All I want is a 29" or equivalent, multiple inputs and built in sound. That's it. That's all. Wonder what my chances are.

And, speaking of getting what I want, I think I scored with the $12 clock radio. It works. It sounds good. It looks good. I can even get AM in the bedroom (for baseball) and it has channel presets which is kind of cool. Plus, it turns itself off and has a tidy little footprint. GPX does not score high on user manuals, but then, their product is pretty intuitive so it's not a biggie. Interestingly, I can't find the model I got on the web. Hmmmm.

The other big news is that it appears that for the first time in weeks, I emerged from the weekend with no new wounds. No scraped knuckles, no new bruises, no new blood red ding spots. Whohoo! Stephen is going to think I slacked off all weekend. He usually comes in on Mondays and checks for the latest wounds and asks how the weekend decorating chores went. Now I got nothing to show. Hmmm...
