Friday Kickoff

This morning's walk was a bit wet, but my Toronto Blue Jays poncho was up to the task. My Treo needs a new baggie, though. I managed to get a couple of shots anyway.

Yesterday I stumbled on some software that is a huge help in typing on the Treo thumb keyboard. It's a very simple and makes a couple of difficult little maneuvers, very easy. The author offers it up on his website for free. He includes the source code and has incorporated some improvements that others have made with his source. And he politely requests $10 donation complete with a fully coded PayPal link. This guy's shit is together. I so love it when people take the time to do things right. It's how the world should work. Of course he got $10 from me.

But, then I got curious so I pounded around his website and soon found his blog. He does good blog, too. This morning's entry is particularly amusing.

Now I think I'll go grab a shower and amble on over to work. They can have me for a few hours. It seems only fair. Later...
