I'm a victim

susandennisI'm a victim of a conspiracy! A conspiracy to make me uncrabby.
Sheri came on time and we visited while the carpet guy carpeted and then she left. I made a new privacy curtain for hiding the computer wires and it's perfect! Just perfect. And I made the first pillow. Again. Perfect.
The cable guy came 10 minutes into his window. He could not have been nicer. Usually cable guys get all pissy because my setup is complicated and/or they have to move shit to get to it. Not this guy. He was fascinated by my set up and worked quickly and efficiently and explained what he was doing and showed me the diagnostic screens. He was patient and listened. He's a freak of nature. He ran tests and pretty soon figured out that the problem was between the street and the building. (He said I had one of the strongest cable signals he had seen in forever.)
He went down to the basement to get it ready for the guy who fixes that shit and then came up to tell me all was good and it will be fixed tomorrow and I don't have to do anything. I was already worried about how I was going to report back to Comcast how good this guy was when he kind of shyly asked me if I would be willing to fill out a little survey. Doh! Checked 'exceptional' in all 7 boxes and added a quick 'thanks for great service'.
Oh and in the middle the Safeway guy came and fell instantly and madly in love with Betty. They had everything in my order and he was very nice as well.
Then Mom called with confusion over her credit cards and I straightened her out. And she said 'I'm so glad that you are responsible for all of this so all I have to do is ask.' I do wonder, from time to time if my poking into her finances annoys or or is ok. Now I know for sure.
Even the Mariners had the lead in their ballgame for several innings! (How humiliating must it be to be beaten by the Mariners?!)
I could not be crabby even if I wanted to and I don't want to any more. At least not today. Got one more pillow to finish up.
