Mom's on a roll

It's not daylight here yet and Mom is on a roll. Five notes from here so far this morning:

1. I can't get to my Visa account [online] any more


2. I tried yesterday too


3. Some guy at dinner last night says I can buy stamps online how?


4. I finally got the post office on the phone and they were no help.
   
5. I did it, I got on


6. Oh, yes, sorry, I got on to Visa - am trying stamps now.


The first two were waiting when I got up. The rest were in response to my trying to figure out where she was in the fog. I think she's under control now.

As I type this I realize that we could have shortened the whole development cycle with a phone call. Nah, too simple.

It's nearly light enough now for my walk... later.

I'm only on my second cup of coffee and starting reading your entry and thought to myself...huh? Susan doesn't know that you can buy stamps on line, and why doesn't she just ask her friendly mail carrier instead of calling the post office????

I neglected to read the first line....and thought it was YOU having this difficulty.

Ha!! Actually, I didn't know you could buy stamps on line because I do have this great post office here. I'd never even think to buy them online. But, turns out, the USPS makes it very easy to do. I was pretty impressed.

phone call??? Good lord! Not that!

I hate the phone but I love email. I guess some of us are just cut out this way.

I love that your mom, confused as she sometimes gets, keeps at it.

Thanks for that perspective. I get frustrated with her sometimes but you are entirely correct... she stays confused, she knows it and she just does not give up at all. I would have packed it in long ago.
