I just went to check on something with one of my domain names. I have 4 of them (including Mom's) registered with DirectNIC. I logged into their website and saw a message that said Here's how directNIC is dealing with the devastation caused by Katrina, the aftermath, and what you can expect over the next few days. What?! Turns out DirectNIC is in New Orleans... downtown!

And, when I clicked on it, I found a link to a LiveJournal I've been reading all day!! interdictor IS DirectNIC!! Holey crap. Wow.

What a horrible mess.
